Research Interests:
Xueli Zhang’s primary research focus lies in examining the comorbidity relationships of diseases through the lens of complex networks. He is keenly interested in discovering novel combination markers that can offer insights into these relationships. Over the course of his academic journey, Dr. Zhang has been instrumental in constructing several biomarker databases and predictive models, showcasing his prowess in the field.

He boasts an impressive repertoire of more than 30 SCI publications. Of these, over 10 were featured in prestigious journals, such as Intensive Care Medicine, BMC Medicine, and Bioinformatics, where Dr. Zhang has been recognized as either the first or the corresponding author.
